After a full year working on this massive project, after real blood, sweat and tears, after love and loss, after breaking myself and building myself back up, I am finally happy to say it is now complete.
I couldn't be prouder of what I have been able to accomplish. I chose this project because I wanted to prove that there is another way around mold making. This meant I had to do all the research and development myself, and push further to places no one had been before. This arm is a mold and a cast at the same time, but with a core and no seams, and I can see everything that is happening from the outside, at all times. All the control I want. The advantages of my inverted mold are countless. The possibilities, endless. All this while saving materials and skipping a complete whole stage in production. This is definitely a project for people to help think outside the box.
The hand and arm are perfectly lined with fabric for comfort and durability. It takes me only a minute to put it on and take it off.
But most importantly, this is a tribute to my late aunt who sadly passed away due to cancer exactly one year ago. The words "Brave and Resilient" will be forever engraved in the chest plates of the arm.
