After finishing a few Winter Soldier Arms and learning with each iteration, I finally decided to put together my own costume. It was a great idea to heavily inspire it by a concept art from Captain America The Winter Soldier by Ryan Meinerding and the costume Bucky wears in Madripoor in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier show. Dani Díaz (@danidiazfotografo) took these incredible pictures.
I made this arm in the colour scheme of the CGI version of the show, where it's more metallic than deep black and it is weathered and worn down. I used Alumaluster by Imperial Surface on platinum silicone. The sheen is unbelievable and I am so proud of this one.
I also made a pair of kneepads that he wears in The Winter Soldier. I have a separate post for those, but they were also cast in platinum silicone of a higher shore, and came out of the mold already with the straps in place. Super clean work thanks to the two part mold I designed.
