Stainless Steel Subtle Knives from His Dark Materials.

A client of mine once asked me if my STL files of the Subtle Knife could be printed in metal. I said it would be very difficult. Nevertheless, he managed to find a service that could print them in metal and he sent me three to paint to look just like the ones in the show. Even the wood pieces are stainless steel.

It was amazing to revisit this paintjob and finally have an actual functional metal prop I have 3D modeled from scratch.
