Dr Doom Electronic Gloves & Helmet Photoshoot

Right on time for Halloween, I finished my prototype of the Dr Doom Gloves, another original design by me. The gloves run 9 different neopixel LED animations and a programmed smoke machine. All of this operated with a single push button under one of the plates of th ebase of the thumb. Videos coming very soon.

These gloves are special. If you liked the Winter Soldier Arm, this is the next step forward. I designed special molds with multiple core pieces for them. I will teach it all in my upcomig course "3D Printed Molds: The Multicore Mold".
The gloves were cast in several shores of urethane rubber. I used PT Flex 85, PT Flex 60, PolyGlass Rub50 (for the translucid areas in the palm). For V2, I will lower the shores a little bit for better mobility and I will ditch the PolyGlass, I didn't like working with it that much. It takes too long to cure and it's hard to get a perfectly cured piece.

I painted them with Imperial Surface products as always, Imperiflex and Alumaluster. Best paints in the business.

This photoshoot was very important to me. I wanted it to represent both my engineer and artistic sides. I'm so proud of the work I've done and I am looking forward to the next piece of the Dr Doom suit :).

All these pictures were beautifully taken by photographer María Alfaya https://www.mariaalfayafotografia.com.es/
Also a huge shout-out to Elegoo for completely sponsoring this project. I have printed so many molds and jackets thanks to their Neptune 4 MAX FDM printers and their Saturn 4 resin printer.

As always thanks to Imperial Surface for being extremly kind and having the best paints in the world.
